RICS launch its 2010 Pro-Yorkshire Awards

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has launched its 2010 Pro-Yorkshire Awards, which aim to celebrate and showcase the achievements of all property professionals in the region.

The search is on for projects that have made a significant contribution to their area, and there are eight different categories: regeneration, sustainability, community benefit, building conservation, commercial, residential, design and innovation, and tourism and leisure.

Winners of the first four categories will go on to compete in the national RICS awards, while the entry judged to have scored the highest across all categories will be crowned project of the year.

The deadline for entries is January 22, 2010 and all finalists will be invited to an awards’ ceremony on May 14 at Elland Road, in Leeds.
