Waterman Group has joined Expert Witness, a step that reflects the growing demand for these services. Waterman Group is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering design and project delivery needs of the property, infrastructure, environment and energy markets worldwide.
They have won a number of important contracts in recent months including five new projects for The Crown Estate in St. James’s London; a Partnering Term Contract to provide engineering and consultancy services to the London Borough of Bexley for four years; the conversion of Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow for the 2014 Commonwealth Games; and a three year framework with HS1 to provide consultancy services on the infrastructure associated with the High Speed Rail Link from St. Pancras to the Channel tunnel.
Their technical experts have experience in presenting evidence and are familiar with proceedings in public inquiries, parliamentary select committees, adjudications, mediation, arbitration and in court. They have a long and successful history of representing both public and private sector organisations.
Recent appointments have included the assessment of fire damage at a special waste facility; advice on asbestos waste encountered on a development site in Kent; air quality advice to a Public Inquiry in connection with a superstore development; advising on the environmental impact of CrossRail; assessing alleged pollution from a petrol filling station; presenting evidence on landscape and visual impact for wind farm proposals to a Public Inquiry; and transport advice on a major energy from waste facility in London.
